The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

I´m so sorry for being so inactive lately - being more or less inactive for the last 1 or 2 years!

I know, I have to change that... and I will...

Do you have any suggestions what I could draw in the near future? Somehow I am lacking ideas for any good pictures lately! Kinda weird, I have lots of ideas for new stories *loool*

Hope I can still do it... haven´t drawn for the past 3 months I think... There´s been so much on my mind, mostly because of my book. I wasn´t sure if things work our or if the won´t which drove me in a kinda depressing state, but things always work out somehow in the end, doesn´t they? At least it did for me

So, I am open for suggestions! Give me your ideas!

Wie wär's mit ner Kiddie-Szene, wo er mit seiner Sis schaukelt? Schaukeln ist immer so knuffig.

Hey, I would suggest you to invest time on learning new techniques, sketching with new brushes and so on until you feel inspired again. And, doing a different hobby, like driving, will do you good too!
