After loooong absence I am finally back X3
Had lots of troubles during the moving and later with a stupid evil virus that killed my windoof >__<
But no I am here again and I am full of engery *__*
Sadly my scanner isn´t working anymore, I don´t know why, so I can´t upload any pics these days, even though I drew a few the last weeks >___<

Okay, I just finished watching Supernatural season 5 and gave it some thinking (OMG, Castiel is so awesome |D).
Who´s Castiel really?
Just an angel of the Lord as he says, or is there more to it?
I think there is *__*
I mean, he´s the only angel that got resurrected over and over again!
And do you remember what Joshua said to Dean and Sam in Heaven? God´s on earth, but he doesn´t know where he is and if I understood all that correctly, none of the angels know WHO God is or how he looks like.
I think Cas might be God, maybe he doesn´t know about that or he kept it to himself, saying he´s "just" and angel of the Lord, because he knew neither Sam not Dean would believe him.
What do you think? Tell me, tell me, tell me, I am so curious |D

The more I think about it, the more I want to believe Cas IS God *loool*
Out of all of those, only two mention Castiel: "A Dictionary of Angels including the fallen angels" by Gustav Davidson, and "The Encyclopedia of Angels" by Constance Victoria Briggs. Both books only mention that Castiel is an angel who, in occult lore, is linked to Thursday.
What's driving me nuts is, I KNOW I've read the original manuscript that Castiel's name is first mentioned in, but now I can't remember which one it was.
As far as Cas being God...if he is/was, I'm going to be mildly irritated, since that's a plot element in one of my stories. Not exactly the same, but similar.
The books just say Cas is an angel of thursday? nothing else? ;__;

I think Castiel is one of those angels that seriously only gets about a sentence of mention. There are dozens and dozens of them. Then you get the whole name similarity thing going, so some people say Castiel is the same angel as Cassiel (which I strongly believe he's not).
This is perfect for writers, since they're taking a name already mentioned in occult lore, but can pretty much mold them however they want due to lack of information in the original texts.
And my story is awful. You don't want to hear more about it.

And I'm so there with you on made up names actually existing! I even dreamt of a name in Greek, once. Ancient Greek alphabet and everything. I wake up, scrawl it down, and go to look it up in the computer. Lo and behold, it translates perfectly into a name. But I digress.
My story is super, super old, and in MUCH need of a complete overhaul. But the old version was about how the world is a balance made up of different elements. Each element, such as earth, wind, fire, water, etc, has a stone that is the physical embodiment of the energies, and keeps them in check. Well something causes the stones to shatter, and creation goes haywire, causing people to turn in to different creatures based on their personalities. Except about a dozen people. So they go about trying to find the shards of the crystals to put them together and restore balance. Heaven and Hell also get involved, so there are angels and whatnot. The end.
i also used the elements this time and lots of other stuff like the holy grail and pandora´s box :-D
okay, good to hear, that she´s not listed, i was worried miriel would have been a somewhat known angel and i made of her something I wanted to have XDD
