The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Design Contest WIN 4000 POINTS, 20$ AND MORE!I've wanted to hold a design contest for a long time now, and finally I've gathered enough points to do it

What I'm looking for:
Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil
-Anything tribal
-Native american stuff
-Feathers!
-Tawny, golden, brown, white, red, blue, cyan, gray, black (well, not all combined)
-I like more natural base colors, but with smaller markings in unnatural colors like blue or red
-Long tails, big/long

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you finally made the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean more quality to the paintings, am i right?.
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

Anime / TV Series

Bit by bit the Anime series I have are running low. I need new input XDD

The last Anime I watched was "Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica". If I hadn´t known about Madokas Goddess transformation I would have stopped watching that Anime after 3 episodes. The beginning was kinda... weird... I didn´t like it that much. Luckily it has only 12 episodes, so I beared with it, because I wanted to know about her transformation. The series first got really interesting when Homuras past was revealed. That really touched my heart and I HAD to watch it to the end (watched the whole series within a day XDD). And the end was really great! Sad, but wonderful at the same time. It made me cry and I haven´t had been so touched by a series like that for a loooong time...

Is there any series you could recommend to watch?

Anyone there who watched "Claymore"? I´ve only watched the first 3 episodes and it was kinda... boring... Does it get better as the series goes on???

Photoshop

Arrrrrrrrrg, my Photoshop hates, me, it really does!

Has this happend to you before as well? You put all your skills and heart in a drawing and when you save it, Photoshop kills itself? Groaaa, I got so mad when it did so today, I made such a wonderful texture and then it dies on me while saving, that´s so mean ;___;

Is there no such thing as a recovery file for Photoshop files? When Microsoft Word dies or your computer shuts down for whatever reason and you weren´t able to save your file, Word saves it for you. Is there anyone out there who knows if something like this is possible in Photoshop as well? I haven´t found any answers on Google so far...

Ist aber auch eine sehr traurige Geschichte.

Dann noch Erementar Gerad, fand ich auch sehr hübsch und nett anzugucken.

Beide Serien sind aber scho gut 5 Jahre alt :/

derzeit finde ich Tiger & Bunny sehr empfehlenswert

ich schaue selten ANimes aber der begeistert mich wirklich sehr ( davor habe ich auch madoka magica geschaut *~*)

macross frontier find ich persönlich ebenfalls sehr ghut und empfehl den auch gerne weiter!
